TN CM congratulates PM for laying stone for new Parliament bldng

Chennai, Dec 10 (UNI) Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi

K Palaniswami today congratulated Prime Minister Narendra

Modi for laying the foundation stone for a new Parliament

building and said it would be a landmark structure in the

Independent India.

In a Demi-official letter to Mr Modi, the Chief Minister

said 'I congratulate you, Sir, for laying the foundation

stone for construction of a new Parliament Building as

part of the iconic Central Vista project in New Delhi.'

'I am confident that this will be a land mark structure

in Independent India', he added.

'On behalf of the people of Tamil Nadu, I congratulate

you for your personal touch in shaping the project', he

said.

'I had the pleasure of taking part in the function through

video conference', he said.
