The Shiv Sena on Wednesday said that the 'Bharat Bandh' organized by farmer organizations against the new agricultural laws of the Center was a befitting reply to the state-backed anarchy. The Shiv Sena mouthpiece 'Saamana' has alleged in an editorial that the BJP-led government at the Center wants to hang the sword of fear and terror on the country for its political interests.

It is alleged in the encounter that instead of finding a solution to the unrest in the country, they want to maintain this unrest. Several farmer unions called for a 'Bharat bandh' on Tuesday, demanding the repeal of the new agricultural laws. Also, the editorial has asked what was wrong in supporting this bandh by political parties. In this, the BJP was criticized for calling the farmers' movement an attempt to create chaos in the country and termed the protesting farmers as Khalistani.
