NorthC Datacenters, a regional data center provider in the Netherlands, has signed a partnership agreement with Megaport. Under the terms of the deal, NorthC customers will have access to cloud connectivity with various providers to support their hybrid and multi-cloud environments, including AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud.
With Megaport’s on-demand software defined network (SDN), NorthC customers will be able to directly connect their infrastructure to the Megaport point of presence at the NorthC data center in Oude Meer (Amsterdam). Businesses that run their operations in the other regional NorthC data centers are also able to connect to Megaport, via NorthC’s ‘Region Connect Ring’, which is a direct fiber connection that links the company’s 10 regional data centers together to create one ‘virtual data center’. Customers will be able to roll out new services and can be operational in days, Megaport said.
