The much-awaited Cyberpunk 2077 is finally here. The game has launched on Steam and it is already pulling huge numbers.
Based on Steam’s public data page, the concurrent player count for Cyberpunk 2077 peaked at 1,003,264 and it has over 900,000 concurrent players at the time of writing. The game’s popularity and its huge concurrent player count explains why so many players had issues while downloading the game on Steam.
Some Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S players managed to play the game early by changing their console’s location to New Zealand. Cyberpunk 2077 is expected to get its first free DLC in early 2021.
