Kumbi: Awareness programme held

Bishnupur, December 09 2020: In connection with International Day for Older Persons, a one-day awareness camp on "Do they change how we address age and ageing" at the ground of Health and Wellness Centre (HWC), Kumbi, today.The programme was organised by NCD Cell, Bishnupur and HWC, Kumbi.

Wangoo Borayangbi Zill Parishad Member, M Brojen; Wangoo Gram Panchayat Ward no 1, Member, K Sharat; MO-in charge Kumbi PHC, Dr Kh Bishworjit; Physiotherapist District Hospital Bishnupur, N Romita; Community Health Officers HWC Keibul, AK Sushila and HWC Kumbi, AK Soshma attended the programme as presidium members.

Physiotherapist N Romita demonstrated simple exercises elders can perform to stay in good condition.

A blanket each was also gifted to 18 elders of the locality.

ASHA workers and staff of HWC Kumbi also attended the programme.
