Mohali: The Punjab government has recruited 117 veterinary officers in the Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development and Fisheries Department under the door-to-door employment programme. One arrested with knife
Chandigarh: A 21-year-old youth was arrested on the charge of possessing a knife. The suspect has been identified as Anit, alias Anna, a resident of Sarangpur village. He was arrested from near Dhanas. The police said Anit was out on bail as he was earlier arrested in a case of murder in 2018. A case under the Arms Act has been registered against the accused. TNS
