Comcast's NBCUniversal has passed 26 million sign-ups for its Peacock streaming service, NBCU CEO Jeff Shell said at the UBS TMT Conference. That's up from 22 million reported at the end of the third quarter.
He expects the steady growth to continue, helped by new content coming up on the service. For example, in January, the company will regain the rights to the series The Office from Netflix.
Peacock aims to reach 35 million subscribers by the end of 2024.
