Shimla, Dec 10 (UNI) Farmer unions in Himachal Pradesh decided to further intensify the protests against the Centre’s three agricultural reform laws and strengthen the ongoing agitation on the national level after several rounds of talks held between leaders of farmer groups and union ministers failed to reach a logical conclusion.

Mr Singha said the protesting farmers on the borders of Delhi decided to block the Jaipur-Delhi and the Delhi-Agra expressways by Saturday, further escalating the stir to a countrywide protest on December 14.
''Farmers who are on roads in the country against the three laws brought to create a monopolised market
after dismantling the open market yards of APMC and amend section 20 of electricity act are vehemently opposed by the farmers all over the country,'' he said.
Now it is open to everyone under whose pressure the Union Government is acting and to whom it want to benefit under these farm laws, Mr. Singha said that farmer unions on the national level have decided to further intensified the talk and also garner support and involved more farmers in the agitation including apple and fruit growers.
