Destiny 2's next-gen upgrade for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S is out now. The upgrade is available for free to Destiny 2 players. The new versions will run at 60fps and 4K resolution for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. The Series S will run the game at 60fps at 1080p.
The PvP Crucible mode in the upgraded version of Destiny 2 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X can be set to run at 120 fps.
Those who already own the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One version will be able to get access to all of their content on the next-gen console of their choice. The upgrade also brings cross-generation multiplayer for the respective console families. This means that Xbox gamers will be able to play with each other, and likewise for PlayStation gamers.
