Longkhuibut Eco-park inaugurated today

Noney, December 08 2020: The Longkhuibut Eco-park was inaugurated at Longmai village in Noney district, today.

The inauguration programme was jointly organised by the Longmai Nature Club and Noney Forest Division.

Napolean Rongmei, MFS, DFO Noney, Ex-officio chairman Longmai Nature Club; Kenan Kamei, president Rongmei Naga Council Manipur (RNCM), managing director (MD) Kabilan Manufacturing & Constructions (KMC) and Kasaigai Gangmei, chairman Longmei Village Authority attended the programme as presidium members.

Napolean Rongmei while stressing the importance of developing such a park in the district, pointed out the possibility of turning the area into a tourism hub and planting of medicinal plants in the park.

Kasaigai Gangmei stated that the Eco-park is one of the biggest assets and pride of Longmai (Noney) district.

D Akhao, owner of the Eco-park also expressed his gratitude for the Longmai Nature Club, Napolean Rongmei, Kenan Kamei, Longmai village leaders and the public for their help in making his dream to build the park come true.

The Longkhuibut Eco-park, is the only eco-friendly park in Longmai (Noney) district.

It is owned by D Akhao S/o D Namgaklung and jointly managed by Longmai Nature Club and Noney Forest Division.
