CD Projekt Red has responded to criticisms about Cyberpunk 2077 for epileptic gamers. Game Informer had made an announcement warning gamers who suffer from epilepsy about Cyberpunk 2077's lack of proper warning and mechanics that have a high chance of inducing seizures in those who suffer from epilepsy.

According to CD Projekt Red, the studio is making more of an effort to provide a proper warning about epilepsy in the game. The studio also said that developers are working on a more permanent solution to the problems that could be faced by epileptic gamers while playing Cyberpunk 2077.
