HYDERABAD: MLC and former MP Kalvakuntla Kavitha participated in the protest on national highway 44 at Tetriyal village in Nizamabad district.
“The bills make the farmers weak and do not take into consideration the stability and security of our farmers. The absence of MSP in the act, she said, leads to a direct entry of private players.
“There are three crucial aspects of agriculture — seeds, fertilisers and farm produce. While the access of seeds and fertilisers has been given to private players that has visibly led to an unregulated market, if farm produce is also opened for the private sector. we can foresee the future of the same,” she said.
