Ellen DeGeneres Goes Holiday Shopping in Santa Barbara After Buying New Home

Ellen DeGeneres heads out for a bit of retail therapy with a friend on Monday afternoon (December 7) in Santa Barbara, Calif.

The 62-year-old talk show host kept it casual while carrying a bag from Jenni Kayne as she and her pal headed into another upscale shop as they kicked off their holiday shopping.

After some shopping, Ellen was spotted driving away in her sleek Land Rover vehicle.

If you didn’t see, Ellen and wife Portia de Rossi recently purchased a new home in Montecito, and are set to become neighbors of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

According to Variety, the new home is a 9,000-square-foot main mansion, with a guesthouse, a detached garage building, a poolhouse, and a barn designed by venerated architect Tom Kundig.
