Kriti Sanon tests positive for Covid-19

As shoots have begun in full swing, the risk of actors testing positive for Covid-19 has increased too. Many stars have been infected with the novel coronavirus. After Varun Dhawan, Neetu Kapoor, Maniesh Paul and director Raj Mehta, now Kriti Sanon has tested positive. The actress was in Chandigarh shooting for an upcoming movie with Rajkummar Rao. She wrapped up her shoot and returned to Mumbai on Sunday. And then on Monday (December 7), reports of her testing positive came out.

Meanwhile, the cast and crew of the movie Jersey, including Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur, who were shooting in Chandigarh, have deferred the shoot. Makers of the film thought it would be difficult to pull off the remaining shoot due to the current scenario of farmers’ protest. The team has now headed to Dehradun. They will shoot in the Uttarakhand capital for the next few days before they head back to Chandigarh for the last leg.
