Rupee falls 4 paise against USD

Mumbai, Dec 9 (UNI) The Rupee on Wednesday declined by four paise to close negative at 73.56 against the US Dollar on rising demand for the US Dollars by bankers and importers, dealers at the Forex Market said.

A local unit that eased by three paise to 73.55 in opening trade, and finished at 73.56, easing by four paise as compared to its previous close.

The Rupee was seen weak due to strong Dollar against other world currencies amid strong stock market, the dealers added.

The Rupee registered intra days high and low at 73.60 and 73.52 respectively, he added.
