- Phunya Sele Sele coach John Maduka believes his charges are ready to take on the Buccaneers.
The much-anticipated MTN8 final is scheduled for Saturday at the Moses Mabhida Stadium with Bloemfontein Celtic eagerly seeking to down favourites Orlando Pirates.
Phunya Sele Sele have the opportunity to win the competition for the first time in the club's history while the Buccaneers are hoping to end their long-awaited trophy drought.
Speaking to the media on Tuesday, Celtic head coach John Maduka is wary of the Soweto giants who are yet to taste defeat this season.
"It's a team that has been playing good football. They've played so many games unbeaten. Since we've started this season, they haven't lost any game, so that alone tells me that it's not going to be an easy game," Maduka said.
"We're going to play against a team that is well organized in defence, they know exactly what they are doing. Offensively, they are quick going forward. We know exactly what we are facing.
"We have tried our best to make sure to prepare well, we will play the game according to our plan but at the same time we don't put ourselves under pressure.
"We go there, try and give our best and enjoy the game because the most important thing is to enjoy the game."
This will be Celtic's second chance at silverware in less than three months after suffering a Nedbank Cup final defeat against Mamelodi Sundowns last season.
"This is our second final in two or three months," Maduka continued.
"It's very important for us to go and win this one. We can only win if we apply ourselves in a very good manner. We give everything to the best of our ability.
"So, it is a very important game for us, and we know it's going to be very difficult for us. With the squad that we have, we are capable of competing with anyone else.
"We are looking forward to the game, it's going to be very interesting. We can't wait."
Kick-off is at 18:00.
