Recently there were reports of many people suffering from a mysterious disease in Andhra Pradesh. On December 6 in Eluru, suddenly many people started feeling sick. He had complaints of headache, vomiting, dizziness and after that, he was admitted to the hospital.


After this, samples of water and milk were also taken along with the patients in that area. AIIMS also collected these samples. Investigation revealed that people became ill due to lead and nickel in drinking water and milk.

More than 500 people living in Eluru became ill and one person died. 370 out of 500 people have recovered and 120 are still admitted in the government hospital in Eluru. At the same time, 19 patients have been referred to hospitals in Vijayawada and Guntur.

On December 6, this case came to the fore for the first time. During this time many people complained of nervousness, memory loss, headache, vomiting, dizziness. Some people also had epileptic seizures during this period. After which all of them were admitted to the hospital for treatment.

Apart from AIIMS, the Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (IICT) of Hyderabad has also collected samples, which are under testing. So their results will also come soon.

Two representatives of the World Health Organization (WHO) also reached Andhra Pradesh and tried to find out this mysterious disease. On the instructions of Vice-President Venkaiah Naidu, the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) has also ordered a team of three members to investigate it.

Andhra Pradesh Deputy CM AKK Srinivas informed that a special cleanliness drive is being conducted in Eluru and neighboring Denduluru.
