Kumari Selja Supported The Agitating Farmers From Tikari Border

Chandigarh, 09 December: President, Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee Kumari Selja today reached the Tikari border and extended support to the farmers’ movement. She said that it is extremely unfortunate that the ‘Anndata’ of our country is compelled to agitate on the open roads in this fierce cold and this government is adamant on its insistence. The government should immediately repeal these black laws, she added.
Interests of farmers cannot be sacrificed to benefit the capitalists: Selja
Kumari Selja said that in its six years tenure, the BJP government sitting at the center has only made plans to ruin the farmers. Currently, a conspiracy has been hatched by the government to completely ruin the farmers. After suffering for 6 years, the farmers have now stood up, but this is not at all acceptable to this arrogant government. Earlier in the month of July, she had exposed the conspiracy hatched by the government regarding these black laws. This dictator government neither heard the opposition nor heard the voice of the farmers and imposed these black laws on the farmers. When the farmers started raising their voices against these anti-agriculture black laws, the government is trying to suppress their voices by adopting various repressive policies.
The government should immediately repeal these black laws: Selja
Kumari Selja said that history bears testimony to the fact that farmers have brought change and revolution with their unshakable determination and historical struggle. The BJP government has launched a brutal attack on the soul of our agrarian country by suppressing the rights of the farmers and denying their entitlements. This fight of the farmers is a fight to save the country. The interests of farmers cannot be sacrificed to benefit the capitalists. Today, the entire country stands with the farmers against the anti-agriculture black laws of the BJP government. If the Anndata is happy, the country is happy. The successful organization of Bharat Bandh by the farmers has shown that the whole country stands firmly in this fight with them. Despite the government adopting all the tricks to thwart this movement, the farmers are running this movement peacefully and successfully, said Kumari Selja.
She said that under the leadership of Congress President Mrs. Sonia Gandhi and leader Mr. Rahul Gandhi, the Congress Party is constantly fighting for the rights of farmers. Tractor Yatra was taken out in Punjab and Haryana by Mr. Rahul Gandhi for farmers’ entitlements. The Bharat Bandh of farmers throughout the country was fully supported by the Congress Party. Even today, Mr. Rahul Gandhi is meeting the President of India with the leaders of the opposition party regarding these black laws. She said that the BJP government should abandon its stubbornness and immediately repeal these black laws.
