Bank employee organizations on Tuesday announced that the farmers would not join the 'Bharat Bandh'. However, he has supported the ongoing peasant movement against the new agricultural laws.
For more than a week, the farmers who have been standing on the border of Delhi have called for a Bharat Bandh on Tuesday. All India Bank Officers Confederation (AIBOC) general secretary Soumya Dutta said that the organization supports the farmers' movement but will not join their band.
Similarly, All India Bank Employees Union (AIBEA) General Secretary CH Venkatachalam said that the organization will not go on strike but it supports the farmers' protest. He said that his members would tie Kalpatti to work on Tuesday to support the farmers. At the same time, before and after the start of work in banks, they will also perform placards in support of farmers.
