Ready to give up OBC reservation if cast system finish: Athavale

Kolhapur, Dec 8 (UNI) Union minister of state for social justice Ramdas Athavale has said 'following all reservation can not give on economic criteria so there is need of reservation on cast base and if the cast system finish then we are ready to give up our OBC reservation.
In a press conference, which was held at goverment guest house this afternoon, Mr Athavale-rservation said that we would give up our cast based reservation if cast system would finish from the society.
With expressing opposed for economic based reservation a to Maratha community, Mr Athavale said that it (reservation) should give independently to Maratha peoples. There was necessary of cast base reservation following oppressing on cast peoples.
With became necessary for census of every cast in the country, Mr Athavale said and added that he would meet prime minister Narendra Modi to request with census of coming 2021 should take place on cast base.
