JAMMU: In continuing attack on People’s Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD), Union minister Anurag Singh Thakur said on Tuesday that the “Gupkar Gang developed big palatial estates and encroached on government land while the Narendra Modi government built bunkers for our jawans at the borders”.
Addressing a meeting in the Jammu division while campaigning for the District Development Council polls, Thakur said the Modi government has strengthened national security and modernised the armed forces. “Bunkers have been provided in crucial areas near the border in Samba, Poonch, Jammu, Kathua and Rajouri,” he said.
“On the other hand, Gupkar Gang allowed the civilians to bleed and jawans to face enemy fire while protecting their self-interests,” he added.
