Irish telecoms infrastructure investment company Speed Fibre Group has closed the acquisition of Irish connectivity provider Magnet Networks from Columbia Ventures (CVC) after completing regulatory approvals, RTE reports.
Owned by the Irish Infrastructure Fund (IIF), Speed Fibre Group also owns Enet and AirSpeed Telecom in Ireland. Following the completion of the Magnet deal, the group now owns companies with combined annual revenue of over EUR 70 million, more than 11,000 customers and over 200 employees.
