The
Hindustan Construction Company (HCC) on Tuesday was under pressure on stock exchanges after the company announced default in payment of loans worth Rs1,836.11cr.
Of the total default amount - Rs1,005.46cr involved principal amount, Rs341.09cr was interest payment and Rs489.57cr belonged to other debt obligation.
HCC's total amount of outstanding borrowings from Banks/financial institutions/Other Lenders stood at Rs3,742.46cr.
Meanwhile, the company's total financial indebtedness of the listed entity including short-term and long-term debt was at Rs10,056.25cr.
At around 2.41 pm, HCC was trading at Rs7.07 per piece down by nearly 1% on Sensex.
