Bharat Bandh: Farmers to stage chakka jam from 11 am -3 pm
Farmer unions, which are protesting against the three recently enacted agriculture-related laws, are observing Bharat Bandh on Tuesday. Over 40 farmer union groups are participating in the all-India strike. The representatives of the farmers have said that 'chakka jam' will be done from 11 am to 3 pm. The protestors have announced that nobody should be forced to observe the shutdown and emergency services will be allowed. The wholesale vegetable and fruits in Delhi are expected to remain shut. Also, as thousands of farmers are protesting at various borders of Delhi, many areas of national capital will be witnessing huge traffic jams.
