Restaurants are inherently risky businesses, and this year the coronavirus pandemic has had a terrible impact on the industry. Despite their enormous efforts, some of our award-winning restaurants—from long-honored classics to exciting newcomers—have been forced to close their doors for good.

As of Dec. 8, 2020, 42 Restaurant Award winners have closed.
