JSW Steel reports 3% yoy growth in crude steel production in November

The company added that the shortage of Iron ore remained a constraint in November 2020 to achieve higher capacity utilisation.

In a press release on Tuesday, JSW Steel informed the exchanges of its crude steel production in the month of November.

The company said that the crude steel production for the month of November, 2020 was 13.32 lakh tonnes showing a growth of 3% yoy.

The average capacity utilisation was 89% during the month of November 2020.

The company further added that the shortage of Iron ore remained a constraint in November 2020 to achieve higher capacity utilisation.

JSW Steel ended at Rs362.45 per piece down by Rs2.5 or 0.69% from its previous closing on the BSE.
