Silver futures on Tuesday dropped by Rs 186 to Rs 65,313 per kg as participants reduced their bets on low demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for March delivery tumbled by Rs 186, or 0.28 per cent, to Rs 65,313 per kg in a business turnover of 12,950 lots.

However, silver traded higher by 0.06 per cent at USD 24.81 per ounce in New York.
