Dr RK Ranjan inaugurates Sports Complex at Senapati

Senapati, December 07 2020: Inner MP Dr RK Ranjan inaugurated the Shomai (Thingba Khunou) Youth & Students Organization (SYSO) Sports Complex and SYSO Sports Meet, 2020 today.

The program was graced by R Yuh Jonathan Tao, vice president, BJP Manipur Pradesh as the functional president, Dr Th Bhogen, Deputy Director, Environment & Climate Change, Government of Manipur, RK Somorjit Singh, vice president, BJP Manipur Pradesh and Lanjaigai Kamei, president, ST Morcha BJP Manipur Pradesh as the guests of honour.

RK Somorjit Singh, State BJP vice president stated that youth are the future pillars and should strive for a good future.

Under Disaster Management Relief Fund through initiative of both the MPs the villagers are getting rice till date and the benefits of farmers will reach soon in the land, he added.

Lanjaigai Kamei, president, ST Morcha BJP Manipur Pradesh lauded the MP for his keen interest to travel even to the remotest hill areas of the State.

Dr Th Bhogen said that to protect the environment is one's responsibility and urged all to stand and fight so as to preserve and conserve the environment.

R Yuh Jonathan Tao stated that Manipur is known in the field of sports and added that under the slogan of "Chingmee, Tammee Amattani," the MP readily agreed to travel in order to encourage the youth of the region.

Speaking as the chief guest, Dr RK Ranjan stressed on the importance of sports in everyday life and added that there are many places in the region with varied natural wonders.

The region is known for Oinam pottery, traditional fibre used for making traditional clothes which is very unique and urged all to preserve the rich cultural traditions of the forefathers.
