Dharmendra turns 85: Actor on ageing; 'Maine zindagi jee bharke jee hai, aur zindagi ne mujhe jawaan hi rakha hai'

Dharmendra once ruled over the silver screen with his unmatched charm, dashing looks and that million-dollar smile of his. While he likes to spend his days on his farm now, surrounded by nature, he hasn't yet said goodbye to his career in film. Now, as the veteran actor and Bollywood's first 'He-Man' turns 85, Bombay Times caught up with him for a little chat. Dharmendra said that his love for cinema is still very much alive. He stated, 'Camera is my love and the camera loves me.' About turning a year older, the actor said that people tell him he's turning 85 but he stopped counting at 60 as he has lived a very full life and in turn, life has kept him young. He added,'I am about to work at 85 and I am not playing a buzurg per se in Apne 2. There’s emotion, but also a thrill element to the film.'
