NEW DELHI: Gold futures on Monday fell by 0.32 per cent to Rs 49,016 per 10 gram as participants offloaded their holdings on low spot demand. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold prices for February delivery declined by Rs 156, or 0.32 per cent, to Rs 49,016 per 10 gram in a business turnover of 11,974 lots.

Gold was trading 0.57 per cent down at $1,829.50 per ounce in New York.
