Imphal, December 06 2020: Troops of Assam Rifles, on December 5, rendered emergency medical aid to a road accident victim.

The victim is a 38 years old man from Sejang Village.

He met with a major accident while travelling on a motorcycle and sustained serious injuries on his forehead and jaw, said IGAR (S) in a statement.

He was rushed to Assam Rifles medical post where the Medical Officer with his team stabilized his injuries and carried out emergency surgery.

The accident victim is stable and recuperating, it added.
