Ludhiana, December 5
In view of the Covid–19 pandemic and keeping health safeguards in mind, the Employment Generation, Skill Development and Training Department and the district administration, Ludhiana, have coordinated with the army authorities to organise an army recruitment rally at a new venue.
This year, the recruitment rally will be held at AS College, Kalal Majra, Khanna, here, from December 7 to December 22. The event is being organised specifically for youngsters belonging to Moga, Rupnagar, SAS Nagar and Ludhiana districts.
To run the recruitment camp smoothly with proper safety standards, all candidates have to produce a Covid-19 free/asymptomatic certificate and no risk certificate, when they will be reporting to the rally ground.
To make the process seamless for candidates, the Employment Generation, Skill Development and Training Department have tied up with the administration of the districts concerned. Instructions have been issued to make sure that civil surgeons and medical officers in the districts concerned ensure that candidates participating in the rally be issued certificates on a priority basis.
Only those candidates who have registered online on the army web portal will be eligible to take part in the rally. The candidates are required to bring the admit card sent via e-mail from November 22 to December 6. The time and venue will be mentioned on the admit card.
The EGSDT Department runs 14 camps across the state under the Centre for Training and Employment of Punjab Youth (C-PYTE) for pre-recruitment training of the rural unemployed for joining the Armed Forces, Central Armed Para-Military Forces and Police. The rally would present an opportunity for the youth of the state to get into the esteemed services and serve the nation. The candidates are being encouraged to take part in it with enthusiasm.
