Rostelecom launches Wi-Fi, video-surveillance in square in Saratov's Kirov Square

Russian national operator Rostelecom, in cooperation with the regional government of the Saratov region and the municipal administration of the city of Saratov, has completed the digitisation of the Kirov Square in the city of Saratov. The national operator has deployed a public Wi-Fi network and outdoor video-surveillance system in the square.

Fibre lines have been deployed, 22 video cameras installed and three hotspots launched.
