Originally scheduled to launch on December 10, the first season of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone has been delayed by six days. Activision has announced the new date, December 16, on its official blog.
Season 1 will be the largest free content drop in the Black Ops franchise. It will feature new Operators, weapons, battle pass rewards, and more. Black Ops Cold War will get new multiplayer maps, 6v6 modes and playlists, 2v2 Gunfight with four new maps, and a new Fireteam map. The game will also get Black Ops 2’s Raid map at launch. Along with these, it will get new Zombies modes, season challenges, and Seasonal Prestige system.
Call of Duty: Warzone will add a new map and mode as well as over 30 Black Ops Cold War weapons and blueprints. The game will also get a new Gulag experience on December 16. Black Ops Cold War will offer Double XP and Double Weapon XP from December 12 to December 16. Players can also log into the game between December 8 to December 15 to get two free bundles, Field Research bundle and Certified bundle.
