Viatel Group has acquired Irish Telecom Services, specialist provider of fully managed corporate connectivity services, from Paradyn. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Irish Telecom has offices in Dublin and Cork. Customers include Booking.com, Irish Continental, Folens Publishers, as well as various credit unions and public sector organisations. Irish Telecom joined forces with Netforce and Exigen Networks in 2018 to form Paradyn. The sale will allow Paradyn to focus on its core IT, voice and security managed services business.
