Kolkata, Dec 07 (UNI) Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar today again prodded the Mamata Banerjee government to focus on governance.

'Watch out for those who throw hat in the ring !' the governor further said. 'Hope there is no repeat of #PANDEMICPURCHASE where transparency and accountability were casualties and even the eyewash probe is guarded secret,' he ended his tweet.

Yesterday, Mr Dhankhar had urged the chief minister to ensure governance in accordance with the constitution.

'High time @MamataOfficial to ensure governance in accordance with the constitution and render police & administration “politically neutral”,' Morning Dhankhar had tweeted.

'CS & DGP @WBPolice non-responsive stance ignoring lawful accountability, letter & spirit of the constitution is fraught with serious consequences,' Mr Dhankhar said.

The governor has been having frequent run-ins with the Trinamool Congress dispensation. He often takes to Twitter to make his displeasure known.
