Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane has thanked the Premier Soccer League for the opportunity to showcase his ability, following his treble success with Al Ahly.
The former Mamelodi Sundowns boss has only been in Egypt for two months but has already led his new team to the CAF Champions League, Egyptian Premier League and Egypt Cup.
This follows the domestic treble he won with the Brazilians last season, on top of numerous previous trophies with the club.
Speaking after a narrow 3-2 victory on penalties over El Gaish in the cup final on Saturday, Mosimane also paid tribute to Sundowns as well as his many opponents over the years.
He was reported by KickOff as saying: "Thanks to PSL for giving me the opportunity [to showcase my ability], thanks to Mamelodi Sundowns and all the teams there that really sharpened the sword so we could test what we're doing outside.
"Thanks to Dr [Irvin] Khoza, I mean even the chairman gave me an award, so thanks to everyone. That's why I always said, PSL is one of the strongest in the continent, it really sharpened me."
