Apodaca is the lip-syncing Idahoan who achieved Internet fame with a TikTok video of himself skateboarding to work while sipping from a jug of Ocean Spray Cran-Raspberry juice. After the video went viral, Ocean Spray gave Apodaca a cranberry-colored 2020 Nissan Titan Pro-4X in October.
Apodaca: Apparently more juiced over Silverado Z71 than Titan Pro-4X
But Apodaca has since traded in the Titan for a Chevy Silverado Z71, his manager confirmed to Autoblog. Apodaca posted a video of the new Silverado, calling it a "five star upgrade" on his TikTok account, which has more than 6 million followers.
The video that made Apodaca famous has been viewed more than 72 million times. After the pickup he was driving broke down on the side of a highway, Apodaca, a 37-year-old father of two, used his skateboard for the last few miles of his commute to his job at a potato warehouse.
The video, set to the Fleetwood Mac song "Dreams," has inspired thousands of parodies and imitations by late-night comics, Montana's governor and even Mick Fleetwood, the band's drummer.
