RCS business messaging traffic to reach 415 billion by 2025 - study

Monday 7 December 2020 | 16:39 CET | News

Global Rich Communication Services (RCS) business messaging traffic will reach 415 billion messages by 2025, up 2,500 percent from 160 million messages in 2020, according to new data from Juniper Research.

Substantial growth will be driven by the growing popularity of communications-as-a-platform services (CPaaS) among enterprise customers and brands. CPaaS platforms are expected to account for the majority of RCS business messaging traffic over the next five years.
