These days new records are being created in the domestic stock market. Domestic stock markets closed again at new record highs on Monday amid positive signs globally. BSE's 30-share sensitive index Sensex fell 347.4 points, or 0.77 percent, to close at 45,426.97. On the other hand, NSE Nifty closed at a record high of 13,258.55 points with a gain of 124.65 points i.e. 0.95 percent. Talking about the sectoral index, the PSU bank index saw a rise of two percent. On the other hand, Pharma, Infra and FMCG shares saw a rise of one percent each.
Hindustan Unilever shares saw the highest jump of 3.09 percent on Sensex. Bharti Airtel shares gained 3.05 percent. Apart from these, shares of HDFC, ITC, IndusInd Bank, SBI, Sun Pharma, ONGC, Tech Mahindra, Larsen & Toubro, ICICI Bank, Asian Paint, NTPC, Infosys, Axis Bank, Reliance, Mahindra & Mahindra, TCS, and Bajaj Auto also green. Closed along the trail.
Kotak Mahindra Bank shares fell the most by 1.37 percent. At the same time, shares of Nestle India, Tata Steel, Bajaj Finance, HDFC Bank, Maruti, Titan, Ultratech Cement, HCL Tech, PowerGrid, and Bajaj Finance also closed with a red mark.
