All Odisha government offices will remain closed tomorrow

Bhubaneswar, Dec 7 (UNI) All state government offices will remain closed tomorrow in view of the Bharat Bandh called by various farmers organisations and trade unions tomorrow.
The farmers organisations are demanding the repeal of Farm laws passed by Parliament recently.
As many as 20 political parties including the Congress have extended their support to the bandh.
Government sources said the decision to close the offices was taken as there is every possibility of the communication system being affected due to the bandh at a time while the Covid-19 pandemic has not been fully controlled and communication has not been normalised.
It is also apprehended that it could have an adverse impact on Corona infection.
But all essential services will be exempted from the purview of the bandh, government sources said.
