ER-Telecom, Eltex start partnership designing telco infrastructure

Russian operator ER-Telecom has signed an agreement for a strategic partnership with the company Eltex, a designer and producer of the telecommunications equipment, reports Cnews.ru. The companies plan to carry out joint projects in the B2G, B2B and B2C segments.
One key focus for the partnership will be deploying safe telecommunications infrastructure on the basis of products from Eltex at schools, hospitals and other state institutions and public entities. Broadband, IP telephony and IoT services will be provided in this way. GPON and Ethernet routers from Eltex will be used for residential broadband service.
