The recent Bihar assembly election under Covid-19 conditions has won praise for the Election Commission (EC). However, what has gone largely unnoticed is Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s suggestion of using EC’s model of delivering polls as a possible template for mass Covid-19 vaccination at an October 17 meeting to review the pandemic and preparedness for vaccine delivery.
