Last date for admission in MANUU distance programmes extended

Hyderabad: The Directorate of Distance Education (DDE), Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU), has extended the last date for admissions into all its distance mode programmes except for BEd to December 22.

The University Grants Commission had given nod to extend the last date of admissions for academic session 2020-21, the MANUU said in a press release on Saturday. The entrance test for BEd (DM) will be held on December 10 as per schedule.

The MANUU is offering admissions in MA (Urdu, English, History, Hindi, Islamic Studies & Arabic), BA, BCom, BSc (Life Sciences – BZC and Physical Sciences – MPC), Diploma courses (Teach English and Journalism & Mass Communication) and Certificate courses (Proficiency in Urdu through English & Functional English for Urdu Speakers). The courses are recognised by the Distance Education Bureau (UGC) and NCTE.

The e-prospectus and online application forms are available on the DDE’s website manuu.edu.in/dde. The form is to be submitted online with registration fee of Rs.300 for all programmes.

Candidates can also contact or visit any of the MANUU regional centres/sub-regional centres located at Hyderabad, New Delhi, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Patna, Darbhanga, Bhopal, Ranchi, Amaravathi, Srinagar, Jammu, Nuh (Mewat) and Lucknow.
