Kangana Ranaut is shooting for her upcoming film Thalavi in full swing. The actor is currently in Hyderabad wherein she is neck-deep busy with the filming of J Jayalalithaa's biopic directed by AL Vijay. December 5 marks the death anniversary of the late actor and Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. She passed away in the year 2016, and as a tribute, Kangana shared a few working stills from Thalaivi.
In the stills shared by Kangana, the National Award-winning actor is looking fierce wearing a crisp white saree and the hair and makeup just like Jayalalithaa. The actor captioned her post stating, "On the death anniversary of Jaya Amma, sharing some working stills from our film Thalaivi - the revolutionary leader. All thanks to my team, especially the leader of our team Vijay sir who is working like a superhuman to complete the film, just one more week to go."

Earlier while calling herself 'superhuman', Kangana had penned about her physical transformation for Thalaivi. She wrote on her Instagram page, "I played the first superhuman girl on Indian screen, thanks to my body a rare combination of dainty yet strong-looking, in my 30s I had to gain 20 kgs for Thalaivi n do Bharatnatyam, it left my back severely damaged but no bigger gratification than to play a role to perfection."
Kangana is set to wrap the shoot of the film in another week. The release date of Thalaivi is yet to be announced.
