Asaduddin Owaisi's party AIMIM 's 44 councilors have won the municipal elections in Hyderabad, the capital of Hyderabad Telangana. The party contested only 51 seats, out of which it won 44 seats.

Apart from the mayoral candidate, the party will also be present prominently in the Standing Committee of GHMC. told that, like the previous committee, this year also 6 AIMIM civil servants will join the Standing Committee. This committee plays an important role in selecting schemes. Former Mayor Majid Hussain won again

Among them, Syed Minhajuddin won the election from Akbarbagh for the third time and Salim Baig from the princely city for the fourth time. Raj Mohan, contesting from Purana Pul, also managed to save his seat for the fourth time. AIMIM also defeated its rival Majlis Bachao Tehreek (MBT) in Azampura by a margin of 3 thousand votes.
GHMC Election Results
Apart from whom many candidates, the party candidate also defeated the BJP corporator from Ghansi Bazar. However, the party corporator lost the election in Jambagh. The BJP won there. In addition to the ruling TRS, BJP, Congress, MIMIM, CPI, CPM and TDP were in the fray in the Hyderabad Municipal Election. The TRS was contesting all 150 seats, while the BJP fielded candidates for 149 seats.
The Congress was contesting 146 seats. TDP candidates stood for 106 seats. At the same time, MIM had fielded candidates for 51 seats. CPI was contesting 17 seats while CPM was contesting 12 seats.
The results of the GHMC elections were announced on Saturday. The TRS won 55 seats in the 150-seat GHMC. BJP came in second place, which has gained a tremendous advantage in this election.
