A total stretch of 45,717 km is maintained by the Public Works Department and 18,801 km by the Road Development Corporation, an official release said.

The programme – scheduled to commence at 1500 hrs in the state capital’s imposing Minto Hall – shall also witness the senior politician interacting with sanitation workers, housing associations, non-governmental organisations and self-help groups. The event may be viewed live on television and in social media. As many as 56 urban bodies will be awarded in different categories.
