Five left parties in support of farmers 'Bharat Bandh'

New Delhi, Dec 5 (UNI) Five Left parties have called upon all political parties and organisations to make the December 8 "Bharat Bandh" successful in view of the protest against the new agricultural reform laws.
The Communist Party of India -Marxist, Communist Party of India, CPI (ML) Forward Bloc and All India Socialist Party have said in a joint statement issued here today that they condemn all the objectionable comments and the bad publicity being done against the farmers movement in the country for the past several days.
They have clearly said in the statement that farmers are opposing the three new agriculture reform laws and the proposed electricity bill and that they stand by them.
''The left parties also said that they support the 'Bharat Bandh' and also appealed to all the political parties to support it.
The statement is signed by CPI (M) General Secretary Sita Ram Yechury, CPI General Secretary D Raja, CPI (ML) Dipankar Bhattacharya, Forward Bloc Secretary General Debabrata Biswas and RSP General Secretary Manoj Bhattacharya.
