Imphal, December 04 2020: In its relentless pursuit to reach out to people and as a gesture of social responsibility, troops of Assam Rifles distributed rations at Happiness Home for HIV/AIDS patients at Thinkanphai village in Churachandpur district yesterday.

60 children and 20 adults attended the distribution programme, said IGAR in a statement.

The contribution was made considering the hardships faced by such institutions, which are dependent on charitable organisations, due to COVID-19 pandemic, it said.
