LIVE Market updates: The Indian markets opened with cautious gains on Friday ahead of the announcement of the decision of RBI's monetary policy committee.

Among headline indices, the S&P BSE Sensex gained 150 points, or 0.35 per cent, at 44,790 levels and the Nifty50 index was testing the 13,200-mark. Ultratech Cement (up 4%) was the top Sensex gainer, followed by Bharti Airtel, Mahindra & Mahindra, and Larsen & Toubro (all up 1%).
